“Man, I miss the old days. When watching TV used to be Saturday morning cartoons and afterschool specials.”
The hare clicked the remote and the screen went black. Admittedly, he probably couldn’t imagine something like a 43 inch screen when he was that age.
“Mmmh! I know what you mean! That’s why I have to take a break every so often.”
He just gave a chuckle and tossed the remote on the table, folding his arms behind his head. “Hah! Yeah, good luck! Unless you have like… a time machine, things have just gotten too complicated now. And even if I wanted to, where would I go that I wouldn’t have my phone, or the internet, or something?”
With a puckish grin, his friend scurries off. Curious, the hare perks his ears and catches a distant rustling and rummaging. A moment later, the ram returns with a faded and overstuffed plushie.
“Wait, is that-?! Duuuude!” Sirocco hitters and sits up, eyes wide. “I used to have one just like this!!”
“Of cooooourse you did! Why am I not surprised? Here, give it a snuggle!”
With no warning, that mass of soft cuddliness comes flying at him. The hare catches it, arms squeezing instinctively and letting a big, nostalgic grin cross his muzzle! He used to remember going on so many silly adventures, building pillow forts, waging all kinds of epic battles and more with his little friend. Weird how clearly he could remember them so clearly…
“Aww, what a cutie!”
Should have been on the lookout for those glowing plushie eyes! X3
