Some vent art. Long story short I got blocked by my only friend, and I feel useless. Sorry to be heavy in public, but I had to externalize my feelings somehow; and this could help others relate, perhaps.
I thought being friends with someone meant you have to be ready to support them in everything they face and do. But supporting them blindly is not the best thing you can do for them. A true friend calls you out when you’re doing something wrong so you can better yourself.
I’m not mindless, I’ve got my own thoughts and opinions. If I’m disagreeing with you, it doesn’t mean I’ve been brainwashed by someone else or turned against you. Sometimes an external input can help one see things for how they really are or at least take a step back to think about an issue differently.
Shutting me off is your choice and maybe you’re just trying to protect yourself.... but it also shows you don’t trust me. I don’t regret anything I’ve shared with you and I wish you the best, but I don’t want anything to do with you from now on. Bye.

True friendships and relationships should be able to have open communication and the ability to talk things through, even if sometimes it takes a momentary pause to process, and I hope things for you get better moving forward

Thank you for your words. It’s not as dramatic a situation as it might seem but I’m taking it to heart, unfortunately.
I completely skipped using the symmetry tool and I’m glad I did, the lines hold more life this way! I like to think the small asymmetry is what makes the expression more powerful. Thanks again :)
