Really fascinating to see the differences between how I do things and how I assume you do things based on this.

Got confused a bit by the pastel pre-color part thing, but I guess it's there to fill in the colors without missing bits or going over the lines, and these stark colors help make sure the possible mistakes are more visible than they would be with the more muted real colors.

So yeah, real cool to see and analyze.

The pastel pre-color bit is pretty much just that! It's to color-block everything out + hunt for stray pixels. Depending on how much is going on in the individual picture, there will be more or less a rainbow of pastel layers planning it all out.

(Each pastel layer actually starts out bright red because that's the easiest color for me to find stray pixels with. To save my eyes, they get made pastel after pixel-hunting, because staring at a bright-red screen while coloring would murder me.)

Lets see, I never developped step 1, going straight for step 2. Don't have step 3. And I seperate ze lighting and shading of step 5 into two seperate layers.
