A while back, I had started developing a group of bears known as the Oversine. Initially, they had started out as a 'superior group of bears' that wanted to make others into bears. As the time went along, though... that changed.
Now, things are different. Instead, the Oversine are a kind, peaceful race that enjoy the simplest things in life, with the whole 'turning you into a bear' thing being because it's a drawback of the magic used. Were it possible to give those their magic 'without' becoming a bear, they would jump on that right away.
And King 'Gluttus' (Or, his actual name, Greg) is one of the kindest, most fatherly bears. Always looking out for his people and those beyond it. Sure, he can be a bit.... over-protective. But, he always means well~
