The first picture for the New Year, a quickie of Phoenix's bust. I recently asked for and got tips and guides on how to use Photoshop from Aikon. Though Aikon mostly told me how to do these things with scanned pictures, I followed his tips and messed around with PS' tools so I could get better lines. The end result is this quick 'n dirty picture of Phoenix I did today with some shading thrown in fast.
So what do you all think of these new lines?

Actually I used a combination of motion blur (on two different pics that I then applied on each other), grassiun blur, levels, threshold and fading to get those lines from the original MSPaint lines I made using the curve tool in that program. As for layers, I don't use them since I still cannot figure it out. :P
