A complete reading of the Shift-Tec employee handbook's section on ID badges reveals that there's no requirement that the photo be taken directly from the front. It merely states that the picture be well lit, in focus, and show "a recognizable view of the face or, if not applicable due to species, other suitably unique individual visual identifiers as appropriate (see appendix B for examples. Contact Personnel for further guidance)." That means that this glamour shot of Ms. Afolabi is 100% compliant with the regulations, and it's going right into her file—and to the badge printer—to replace that dreadful picture that's there now!
