History: Though the deserts of Nahm Shah have always been a haven to those travelers who desire to escape from the corruption of their own homes, recent occurrences forced even the kind pharaohs and lords of this desolate land to fight back.
Nahm Ahn Tu, son of Nahm Et Kah was raised to eventually succeed his father as the pharaoh of their lands and give proper sanctuary to all those who required it. Yet with the coming of the Dark King and his vast almost uncountable armies, their lands are put in a state of flux and disarray.
Despite the best efforts of their own armies, they could not prevent the Dark King from laying waste to several of their ancient cities, sacking, looting, pillaging and raping as they saw fit. Yet even with the constant flow of destruction, the Dark King's forces could only go so far into this inhospitable land before needing to find respite away from the heat. Thus the ancient city of Ahm Ka Lere is the only place of refuge for these once prosperous desert folk.
His father had perished within the fighting, and this forced Nahm Ahn Tu to take the reigns of power and lead his people. With the magics of water and sand at his fingertips, he set about rebuilding whatever homes he could, and helping to form temporary lands of water and small oasis' to give the people a proper respite away from their sufferings.
Yet the sadness, and the sheer rage could not sit unabided in Nahm's mind, it was horrible enough to watch their people slaughtered, yet to seem them so clearly reduced was a shame he felt he could not bear.
Yet with great reluctance and little choice upon the matter, he gave way to an alliance with the warriors of the North and their leader Sne. Which brought about an unexpected boon to this ailing pharaoh...
