As for him being part Dragon, I had never actually thought of that, but it actually makes sense. Not only can they breathe fire and fly if they are light enough, but they are also one of the only species in my universe that is capable of magic. The big reason I made him breathe fire is because it was kind of a stereotype with fat characters to breathe fire. Earthquake from Samurai Shodown and Big Ben from Streets of Rage are probably the most notable examples, though Kang from Rage of the Dragons also does it as does Raiden/Big Bear from the SNK games.
