The Pale Army had made their way over countless miles of deadly terrain, managed to sneak past the monsters that plagued the land, and were finally within sight of their ultimate goal. The final bastion which sheltered their prize, the young Princess of Eternities, was at last within their grasp. All that was left was to make it beyond the lone defender who was left standing in their way.
It seemed almost unfair.
