My first ever attempt at making something like this. It has its flaws but I'm still happy with it. I'll be making a better set of wings for it eventually. There is a tinted viewing port in the neck.

They're a 'little' over-engineered: the wings' skeleton and body harness are made from metal, and the wings' skin is clear plastic painted black.
They're on the heavy side so I would definately do them differently the second time, although I can upload a construction photo if you'd like.
