Sweet! Another Mob fossil hunt. Alas, as we got to the canyon, Mitch had to go lay the longest cable in recent Arizona history. Exhausted after this Herculean labor, he fell asleep in the grass. Perhaps less sensibly, the rest of us went clambering over the rocks, looking for the remains of sea critters millions of years dead. We found some, too.
On the way down, Mike fell in some cactus. I helped him pull out some of the spines he couldn't get to easily. But touching another man was allowed by the Man Code in this instance, cause I was using a pair of pliers as an improvised tweezers.

This is like a bad episode of "Last of the Summer Wine". Maybe "Adventures With Bill" from "The Red Green Show".
"On this episode, the Tucson Mob go fossil hunting. Mitch lays so much cable, he needs a nap. Mike is attacked by cactus, and Karno nearly violates the Man Code. All this and more on.....Adventures of the Tucson Mob!"

I fear a Norseman with a hammer. My best friend was Danish and whenever he picked one up I thought we were going to have a storm.
Fossil hunting, eh? I love fossils. Do you mostly get trilobites or are there some ammonites in there? What's the strata like? I'd love to get some stromatolites in my collection, as well as some of the early chordates like haikouella or pikaia. Or even something weird and awesome like an anomalocaris or opabinia.
