This was at one point a major highway through the badlands. At a later date, a new highway was built on a different route and this one was just left to die.
When driving down a road like this, you get a strange feeling. It's hard to describe unless you've actually done it at some point.
It is nice to be able to drive for hours on end and never see another person. Just get away from it all.

Ya but its just how people are. I was able to find an old revolver frame (very rusted) most of a ford model T which I sold for $1900 to a guy who collects them and an old toy pedal car. All that was on my grandpas property on the old road Highway that went from Casper to Shoshoni. Not much of the old road left but it's cool do drive on.
