They do, but sadly, black lives seem less valued in our society right now, so we need to put emphasis on them.

A lot of protestors wear protection masks in order to not spread the virus further. Corona is still important and out there, but this is an entirely different matter that needs to be addressed asap. We have to take action.

masks are no guarantee of protection from the virus. sacrificing black lives to a virus in the name of a protest about the importance of black lives is just plain dumb.

It's not all or nothing, here: You can wear masks and keep the neccessary safety distance while protesting. At least in my country, protest groups successfully do that. You are less endangered of getting it outside, as well.
Also, I'm not just asking black people to gather in groups, but all people.

you cant keep a safe distance in a mass crowd and masks only provide limited protection. Anyone that truly cared about black lives would be trying to do everything they can to protect them from this pandemic, not advising people to risk their lives in it.

Hm, protests I've seen and attended here disprove that.
And yet, my country still is one of the countries with the least problems with Corona.
Honestly, I'm not convinced that it's worth crushing the momentum of a movement that could liberate black people which have been opressed for centuries. And that opression kills people, as well. But I absolutely want people to protect themselves from Corona during protesting. I've made the choice for myself to attend protests, together with loads of friends and peers, and I can ethically stand behind that descision. I'm not breaking any laws by doing so, as well.

this will be my last post on this cause it could go on forever. But All medical professionals will tell you there is no risk free way of gathering in a mass crowd during this pandemic currently no matter how many precautions you take. So by partaking and ecouraging mass gatherings during this panmdemic you ARE risking lives and especially black lives. protetcing Black lives should always come before protesting about them.

I'm also bothered that some of more extreme in the BLM group don't even care about their own brethren. If anyone supports say a republican they call them sellouts or uncle Toms. Well they should know that their role model martin Luther king Jr was a Christian conservitave.

and also animals I also seen and heard about protesters hurting innocent animals..like a rock getting thrown at someones dog and heard that a protester put a horse on fire.
