I had this idea yesterday for a drawing of my other sona, Captain, standing on a cliffside, with the landscape behind her and a gentle breeze, and I had to draw it. I am actually really proud of this drawing and so happy with how it turned out. This drawing probably took around 4 hours to complete.

Captain is a feral mouse, not anthro, but I decided to have her standing up on her back feet, as if she is trying to get a better view of her surroundings.

Since she loves adventure and travel, I gave her a scarf that is blowing in the wind, a belt, and a satchel to hold different trinkets, like her compass.

It was very difficult to figure out how to draw her design from this angle. This is probably where I spent the most time on the drawing, other than the background.

For this drawing, I also tried cell shading. It was so much fun to do. I decided to make the background more painted to contrast with the cell shading, and I really like this.

The background was inspired by one of my favorite places to visit: the mountains in Tennessee. They are very beautiful and calming, and I wanted to include this in the drawing, as well.
