HAHA I liked about doing nothing with this, here's an alien species! They're called Chroma and they're broken into castes.
Empsyches (MCYKs)
Colour palette: magenta, cyan, yellow
Possessing powerful psionic abilities and staggering intellect, empsyche chromas are the ruling caste of their people, overseeing the civilian, commercial, and military leadership. Empsyches are sterile and intersex, having androgynous features and tending towards smaller frames than their bedub or arbige birth-parents. They have medium-length tails that are strong and very flexible. Infant empsyches are taken from their parents at hatching and raised with other empsyches in a creche - this allows a suitable household for the new prince or princess to be found while the child is honing their psionic powers in safety.
