Hunter as a gray jedi in this story he actually was active during the time of Ravan(agianst him) but was cryogenically frozen till just before the clone wars durning the war he slowly leaned toward being a grey jedi he survived the Jedi purge to go on to join the rebellion he acquired the protosaber while being hunted by an inquisitor
