Csye Space borne Marine (Sparine???), torching some poor fool who decided to make a stand.
Example of Csye heavy armour. Obviously really bulky, and designed to function even when penetrated/buckled under vacuum conditions.
This was a rushjob, which I started about 5 hours ago and finished in one action from a sketch that had been sitting unfinished on artrage for the past half year.
Mostly, this was to train lighting techniques. At this point I want to thank all the artists who made me get interested in trying this kind of thing myself, instead of constantly dreaming about it only.
At any rate, Comment, Critique, Enjoy. Also thanks to the #wyvrncity folks for playing BFBC2 and allowing me to listen to them on skype while they were at it. You people are fantastic! Like my own little kindergarten group <3

Well, by that argument, every full plate body armour ever is a space marine ripoff. :p My inspiration for this actually comes from a variety of animes.
Plus, the wearer of the armour is neither genetically nor surgically modified, just very, very well trained, and the armour is brand new, as opposed to being a 10.000 year old puzzle of replacement parts.
Glad you still like it, though. :> I try to avoid making it look too similar to anything, but unfortunately, I´m not the first person to draw this kind of suit. Similarities are nigh unavoidable.

Lovely. It's not often we see so many smooth, sleek lines in heavy armour concepts anymore, and this is one reason why I like your work. The Aestetic. All of my drawings are usually done with a 'beauty in functionality' feel, while yours are simply beautiful regardless.
Lovely lovely smoothness!
