yes - but the limit is the maximum aperture of your lens. Of course I could lower the ISO-rating to get a less noisy picture - but that would cause in a longer exposition time. This picture was taken with a 1/200s. Okay, I have to admit that I could have done this picture maybe with a 1/100s, resulting in just ISO1600 instead of ISO3200. But thats all. Longer exposition time would be a problem, because at first the photo would get a blur because of the movement of my arms - even though I already got an image stabilizer, that´s not magic, too ^.~
And at last I take a picture of an animal which moves - much longer exposition than maybe a 1/50s would result in a blur because of its movement, even I would use a tripod to compensate my movements ^.~
