Incidentally, did you know that there's apparently a live action 2019 Pinocchio movie? I just found out about it this morning but haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

Hmmm maybe they're hiding it so nobody can find the donkified victims lol. But I know on tfdimention there's a clip of the donk scene but I haven't gotten around to seeing that either.

Maybe he could catch up to Lampwick (or Lampwick somehow heard Pinocchio's distress, bringing him to his senses and back to try to help) and they could escape together to try to find a cure/redemption. Or, maybe things work out and for them, being donkeys turns out to not be so bad. just be a couple of donkey friends. I know that wasn't what happened in the original book and that might ruin the point, but it seems better then having nasty/sad stuff happen to them .

People might say Lampwick was a bad kid, but he still accepted Pinocchio, despite how different he was.

A certain video game has a character if one could still love a child, even if he wasn't a real boy. Yes, I could. I'd like to think that likewise, Gepetto (sp?) could still love Pinocchio, even if he's a donkey.

In fact Carlo Collodi the author of Pinocchio never had children because he hates them.

Either way, he's real, right? This way he became real the easy way, but he'll be a slave. If he should escape, this can't be too terrible.
