A drawing I made for
Snoozey's recent Pride Month speech. Given the current events of the US, it's important to respect the rights of minorities in the world, may it be people of color, LGBTQ+, and more. And while Snoozey focuses on trans rights for his speech, he understands the rights of everyone else as well. For those who don't, or can't, forgive him, I won't make you change that; but please know that he's changing for the better now, and thus deserves the chance to.

Please stay safe during these trying times. You're beautiful, you're loved, you can do anything.

Joanne, you are very darn kind and loving to stick with them. Reading their speech I could relate in a way- while I never managed to say hateful things about or toward people, I definitely used to have very hateful beliefs, brought on by my own insecurities. I thankfully have the furry community to thank that I never acted on those backwards beliefs I once held. I still have work to do on my own journey but I'm glad Snoozey is working to improve!
I say the most important factor and my own saving grace was listening first. Respect comes from listening to each other, and folks in minority groups deserve to be heard and listened to now more than ever.
