Rigby's full ref finished at LAST!

Even though he looks like and has been mistaken for a:
- Raccoon (his favorite 🙄)
- Ferret
- Weasel (an in-joke from the Ghost AU)
- Beaver
- Rat
- Rodent
- Squirrel

He's a Japanese Raccoon Dog, known more commonly as a Tanuki. They are canines. Yes. This rounded eared, ermine-looking little bastard is a dog.
(Though, please forget that if you hate drawing dogs/canines... 😩🤞🙏)

As you can tell with his attire, he's big into superheroes and really wants to be one some day... For now, he's a huge nerd that loves reading comics and cosplaying as them.

(Being a Youkai, he basically has superpowers already, but he's kinda dumb... 😆)

He does suck at using his powers outside of being a troll, though. But, when the time comes... Watch out. 😼

Ghost!Rigby actually got his blue fire powers from THIS Rigby!

Rigby was inspired by the various tanukis that exist in media, specifically Tom Nook, Tanya Keys, and Michiru Kagemori! 😸

He's supposed to have more of a "Japanese" style to his look, so the cutesy, but incorrectly designed cartoon ones were mainly what I used for his look, as it's more interesting than the typical, boring panda face they actually have.

Of course I gave him a superhero mask over his face. Of course I did. He has to hide his identity SOMEHOW outside of the fluffy bangs over his face.

I gave him a simplistic design not only to make him easier to draw, but because of the fact I want to get a partial of him and I don't want to feel guilty about "robbing" him of a beautiful Fullsuit. I want to cosplay at cons anyway. Also, you notice how it looks good when he wears clothes? The balance of complimenting browns with whatever outfit he wears is just... *chef's kiss*

(That and I didn't want his dog form to upstage Buckley.)
