Oomph...after a couple of days...it’s done. -other than the last bit of fabric glue is drying.- Another...experimental prop..using scrap fabric and previous learning experiences from school and beyond.
The black details were cut pattern pieces with fray check edges, cropped using a pair of thread scissors..hand painted edges, and glued.
Tried a little bit of withering this morning using tea. After the material dried...took it outside and edged some areas for a little more extravagant look...than a clean approach.
Ironed, machine sewn edge, and finished with yarn.
There’s of course things would of done differently...but that’s not the point of making the prop...it was to learn how to make something by relaxing the perfectionism side... Can always add more edging in photoshop.
It was worth trying to make! Inspiration for the edging was from action movies/anime.
