Meet Maury the Muk. He is one of Max's vorish Pokémon. Max and Maury are great friends and tend to act like brothers. Maury agreed to be a part of his team to avoid capture from other trainers.

As you can see he has a thing for Picha. He already knows that Max and Picha are a couple, but he just loves to admire Picha for a couple reasons. One reason is because Picha happened to be the only female Pokémon that has ever really talked to him, and the other reason is because he pretty much loves Picha's cute looks. When he was a still a Grimer Picha saved him and now he wishes to only to protect her and help to make her cuter (though he tends to do the opposite from time to time). Maury has a big appetite and can be a bit of slob though he doesn't notice at all!

Picha puts up with Maury mainly because she knows he is very friendly and only wants to help when he can. Especially because Maury also likes to shower Picha in gifts and compliments often which she always enjoys! She can't bring herself to ever tell him what a slob he is (though for a Muk that would probably be a compliment).
