The Goo Goo Dolls are one of the blandest and absolute worst things that ever existed. To be fair, they were great in their pop punk days, but since they sold out in the late '90s and did this they've been terrible. If I were you, I'd hear "A Boy Named Goo" or almost anything made before it.
