A commission for Kelshin of his rather radical inquisitor. I think he might be suffering from a bit of mutation or something.
Anyhow, Oh, Kelshin remind me to post the other skulls I did too. Or I guess this can remind me or I could do it now but I am feeling lazy.

*shrugs* acolyte rules state they must take wounds that would be allocated to the inquisitor. Usually this means they take the bullet, but in this case he took the overheating.
Haven't bothered using an inquisitor for ages in my army though <_<; big drain of points and everyone expects to see him (and no, he's not spanish). In all my times of playing the game, there has never been enough enemy psykers to make him useful beyond being a bullet magnet.

Nah, bolters just fire bullets. There are las weapons, but solid rounds tend to have better stopping power; at the cost of weighty and bulky ammuntion. Las weapons tend to semi cauterize the wounds when it hits. But the tissue damage and heat is generally fatal, but if it isn't a direct killing blow you wont bleed to death. Yes, I read too many Warhammer novels >.>
They have a big thing against 'Soulless machines' in warhammer. Its okay to take humans or what once was human and turn them into robots or cyborgs. But making any kind of computer or machine that 'doesn't' have a human soul guiding it is a big no no. Thus why they often use skulls as simple drones, they can do simple commands and carry weapons, lanterns, fetch things and the like.
It's been a LONG time, but I recall a section of the Daemonhunters codex that had some subset about including a Commisar and a squad or two of Imperial guard infantry units under the heading of Inquisitorial Mandate. The above mentioned forces do not answer to the Guard, but the Guard answers to the Inquisition when asked.
Everyone who's smart does. ;3

Yep. Commissars cant officially give orders, since they aren't in chain of command. But advice they give to commanders is taken very seriously, since they can shoot the commander if they ignore them >.> And everyone answers to the inquisition. Or they answer to the space marines at gun point if they don't.
