Cynder couldn’t believe the situation she was in. A new threat was endangering her home and Spyro was the only one who could help her. Unfortunately, he was running late, leaving Cynder no choice to go in alone. She considered herself just as strong and resourceful as her purple dragon friend and thought she could hold off her enemies until help arrived.

Underestimating her foes would prove to be her biggest mistake. The moment she landed in enemy territory she was surrounded by robots that were once creatures of flesh. The emotionless machines fired beams from their eyes and, while Cynder was successful in dodging the ones in the front, she failed to do so to the ones behind her.

A strange feeling suddenly came over Cynder as the back of her head was zapped. It was getting harder for her to think at all, let alone come up with a different battle plan. Her mind was so muddled that she didn’t notice that she was transforming into a robotic version of herself.
