Left: Ara’Kres. Despite being born on the Askharian homeworld of Q’Ark, this saurian was quick to leave the cozy nest behind and volunteer as a park ranger in a far-off backwater nation. In places like this, taking care of adorable critters with an abundance of tentacles is only half of the job - natural disasters, hostile wildlife, and criminal poachers are commonplace, so Ara's patrols of the wilderness can often get a little hectic. The "strange fluffy alien's" relative success at these missions, however, have made the raptor something of a local celebrity: for a time, the ranger has even hosted an educational series for the local children!
Right: MYX-T4R. The MYX-model prototypes are one of the pinnacles of Commonwealth engineering, an attempt at designing a “true” artificial intelligence! As conventional transistors have reached their physical limitations decades ago, their processors are powered by unstable, matter-bending singularities - meaning that a mature brain-state cannot quite be copy&pasted, and each droid has to be paired with an Askhari trainer to teach it how to adapt to the world around it, beyond the very basics. This makes the raptor-bots develop unique and distinct personalities, acting like playful, curious animals. This unit, much like its owner, adores long trips through the gigaforest and interactions with the local fauna. Gentle scritches applied directly to the cranium are an easy way to overload its pleasure centers.
