I'm starting to get back into my art. Got back from AC today and had a blast visiting with Mr. James Gurney and his wife! Sat in on one of his panels and went back to the hotel room and started working on a sketch I did last year or the year before. LOL I showed it to him today and he thought it was great. He liked the shading I did of the 'hair' which were feathers. Showing where the light was coming from. He is a VERY nice person!

So, I will begin working on coloring old sketches and creating new ones. :)

I would liked to have gone. James Gurney is one of my favorite illustrators. I bet he inspired you.

If AC can outdo themselves with another GOH like Gurney, I'll travel up to Pittsburgh by hook or crook.

That would be awesome and you will have to come visit us as we will be moving in a couple months to PA and will be only 2 hours away from AC!

Unfortunately I've moved a couple times since this posting. I even lived within 10 miles of AC and still wasn't able to attend! :( Having to use a motor chair to get around outside the home now makes traveling harder.
