Well, the acoustics of the guitar aren't half bad, quite treble in sound, very bluesy! The mix between the two is wonderful! If I played more modern music I'd certainly buy it.

Thanks, yeah I was pretty surprised by the acoustics. I really wasn't expecting it to be more than an electric guitar. I think that might be in part due to the modern bracing and part because I decided against mounting the potentiometers to the top.

Well right now the bridge on it it is a old school non-compensated one, so it will sound about the same in any tuning presuming of course you are keeping a sane amount of string tension. What tuning do you normally play in?

From top string to bottom string it would be, C G D G C D.

That's a crazy sound, yes very jazzy. I need a more rock-ish guitar. I got a Fender Stratocaster, but it's VERY twangy. But that lends to my sound of course. Contrast Contrast Contrast!

Hehe, I wasn't expecting that thing to have such a deep voice. Normally these things come out extremely twangy:/ No worries, I'm like across the bridge from one of Seattle's highest end guitar shops. If no one here takes it it will be the cheapest thing in his shop :D

gonna post here for my take on the entire thing and all the pics. simple yet elegant. the endpin jack and the nylon nut, the bottom is very interesting. i like the way you decided to have the strings attached. the playing was rather good too. nice hardware you have on there too. judging from all the pics and this sample, its worth every penny. very well done. you can be proud of thus beautiful instrument.
