TMNT Fanfic Character: Keno the Samurai Pizza Cat! (OH YA!)
Another character for 
Ryutheweredragon's TMNT Fanfic story. Like all of his works, it's unoriginally original! Just like the Joker versus Freddy in the X-Mansion. XP
This is Keno. Keno is a chinese pizza delivery boy with some basic martial arts training. He makes his appearance first in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Secrets of the Ooze as sort of a comical sidekick who constantly wants in on the action the turtles jump into. The turtles usual respoonse, in a nutshell, was "Piss off."
In this story of Ryu's however, this all changes. KEno is able to uncover, in secret, a vial of the mutagenic formula found in the 80s show. For those of you unfamiliar with this plot device, it genetically alters the exposed, fusing it with the most recent different species it had contact with. In this case, a cheetah.
Cheetahs aren't easy to come by in public though. So how did Keno manage to change himself into one? Well, on of Taze's OCs, a Komodo Dragon mutant named Kai, decided to secretly give Keno what he wanted: to finally fight alongside the turtles as a mutant so that they'd finall acknowledge his skills as a warrior. Giving him strands of a cheetah's pelt(it does not require the animal to be alive for the mutagen to work) and Keno became the super fast cat he is now.
While definitely an improved asset to the team and no longer as much a comical sidekick, he is still regarded as sort of a nuisance in fights. At the very least he makes a much faster pizza delivery...cat than he was human. His choice of weapon is a customized Yari, with two small dagger like head perpendicular to the centered head. On the flat part of the head are inditinct runes etched on them. The Spear itself is made of a flexible material like bamboo, and springloaded to fold in on itself. This shortens the handle to travel size, making it less hindering for Keno when he's sprinting at 60 miles per hour. When he unlocks the latch near the spear head, the handle extends to full length, giving him the full force of a spear. He's not the strongest of the TMNT crew, just don't underestimate him though.
