Round 10: Lynda Hardy (Hobart Wolves)
This Round’s Nominee has become one of the fan favourites at Hobart in her short time playing for the team but this week was one of her best performances. With 17 disposals, 13 kicks, 4 handballs, 9 marks, 1 goal, 1 hitout and 6 tackles, It is of course Lynda Hardy for Hobart Wolves. She is this week’s Jimmy Newman Medal Nominee.
From Canada, Lynda Hardy was lucky enough to go to a school which has Australian Football has a sport. She initially tried it on a whim but grew to ultimately love playing the sport. She would end up playing with the local leagues in Canada and after an International Cup appearance with Canada, She was picked up by Hobart in the draft and almost made an impact instantly. She has since become one of the better players for Hobart and one of the fan favourites along with Dee Ashcroft.
We wish Lynda the best for the rest of 2020.
