Part 1: The Hunt

While exploring the Infinite Forest far from any settlement, Gecko suddenly feels his vision blur. The air grows thick with an unfamiliar energy—not the clean flow of nature magic he's used to, but something darker, hungrier.

Through his fading consciousness, he makes out a figure: a dark-skinned woman with a horned skull mask and hair that moves like living tendrils. Her orange eyes glow with predatory interest.

"Well, well... what do we have here?" Vertigo's voice echoes. "Such vibrant life force... and so far from home."
