James LabrafoxAfter what had turned out to be a completely wonderful evening at the "Brownstone Lounge" during dating night (Stomach ace problems aside), it was an almost sunshine shinning happy Robin that was arriving to his job the very next Wednesday morning.
When noticing what a super happy mood their Deer friend was in both Honey and Lemon started to ask him on what had happen to him last night, to which the cross-dressing Reindeer turned to them and said "Just wait until you hear this!"
"YOU MET A MAN?!" Both Honey and Lemon asked out surprised, as Robin couldn't feel more proud sharing the news with his co-workers.
Once the small shock had settled the Bear and Skunk duo started to ask all sort of things about what kind of man he was, how he looked, and if he has been wanting to go on a second date with Robin yet?
"I can just show you instead." Robin said as he started looking through his phone, before then finding one of the big Buck posing and showing off his impressive muscles to Robin as he took the picture.
Both Honey and Lemon had to admit he was quite the catch that Robin had managed to reel in, as they said that he must be feeling "quite lucky" to have connected with someone that handsome.
"Thanks." Robin said back. "It does make me feel like the happiest guy on earth right now."
"But have you planned a second date yet?" Honey asked, with Lemon adding in "Or have you talked with him at all since your meeting?"
"Not yet." Robin answered. "I've given him my number, but I haven't heard back from him yet." (What Robin didn't reveal however was that he too had been given the number to Marley, but he had been feeling way to nervous to be the one calling back first.)
"I hope he calls you back soon then, cause it would be quite a shame if he ended up suddenly vanished from your life." Lemon said, as Robin agreed "Yeah, it would be pretty devastating if that happen, since he is probably the best thing to have ever happen to me."
Hiding in the background behind a slightly open door was a fourth character listening in on the conversation, and it was none other then Robin's personal admirer/co-worker/stalker Amber.
Hearing the news the Bunny girl felt completely heartbroken, as she had to try her best to hold her pains back as to not reveal herself being so near the rest.
Having heard Robin entering she was planning on jumping out with a surprise gift for him, but after hearing all this she did best into just keeping the small box hidden behind her back.
Closing the door complete Amber tried to convince herself that this wasn't real, and that she was just having some freakish nightmare about Robin having ended up taken before she had a chance to "win him over" to the straight side.
Looking at the small gift box she had prepared for him small tears started to run down the Bunny's face, as Amber prayed to herself that hopefully this would end soon, and that this "Marley" guy would end up never calling back to Robin ever again. The day right afterwards Robin was looking less happy, and much more doubtful and worried over that Marley still haven't heard back to him after more then 1 day since they first met.
During the whole workday the Deer boy had problems focusing on his cleaning duties, as all of his thoughts was about fearing that maybe Marley had decided to dump him behind his back?!
It wasn't until when he and his team was meeting up during the end of the workday when the door open, and Robin said back "I'm sorry, but we are just about to close..." when he saw who it was standing on the other side.
Leaning against the open door was Marley, holding onto a energy drink in his hand, while the setting sun in the background was making him almost look like a god-like miracle in the eyes of Robin!
"Gasp!"
Even Honey and Lemon was pretty stunned by seeing the hunky Buck in person, and not even their Giraffe boss Shelly was safe from his good looks when she also joined the room just to see what all the commotion was about.
"You must be Marley, right?" Honey asked, as Lemon filled in "Robin sure wasn't lying about all the things he said about you.", making the femboy blush slightly from embarrassment over having his friends revealing what he said in private.
"Really?" Marley said, clearly liking the free compliments he was getting. "What exactly did my little doll here say?"
"Doll?" Robin asked himself in confusion, as all the ladies started to recap what they had been told about Marley the day before.
That's when Marley looked and Robin and suddenly said "Oh my god! You actually is wearing a maid outfit while working!", which made Robin groan a little bit as he was wondering why it took him first now to notice it when they all hadn't been getting changed yet.
"Just look at you all." Marley said as he took in the 3 maids and boss fully. "Me and Doll here could have ourselves a little "fun" together, and you two could then come over and clean our bedroom for us!" before then laughing loudly over his own bad joke.
He realized very quickly that no-one else found it all that funny, as Marley quickly brushed it off with saying "I would obviously pay you for your job, if that's what you were wondering."
That last part actually made Robin snicker a little bit, making the other three ladies looking at him as if he was suddenly someone else.
"See. Doll here gets it." Marley said as he reached down and started to mess up Robin's cap and hair for teasing, before then saying that he was going to leave.
But before he did so he looked back at Robin and asked him "What would you say about going on an actual date together, now on Saturday?", to which the Deer boy almost yelled out "I would love that!" in response.
Marley smiled as he said "Then it is a date, then.", before then signing off as he left the place.
Once gone Robin was back at being the same super happy self as he had been during Monday, as he couldn't believe he actually was going to have a real date with Marley soon!
As he went to get changed however the other three ladies all started to whisper behind his back, and once Robin was all the way over to the locker-room they started to speak normally.
They were all pretty united in that Marley seemed like a pretty big jerk, and that he wouldn't make for the best of partners for someone as sweet and innocent like Robin.
The problem was that they had all seen just how love struck Robin was to Marley, making it that much harder for them to come up with a good idea on just how to tell him the harsh truth.
"Perhaps it's just best that we let them go on that date, and then hope that maybe Robin will see what the rest of us is already seeing." Shelly told the other two, right before Robin returned back out all changed now.
Keeping up a good face as they said goodbye for the day they all wished for Robin that he got a very fun date with Marley, while also hoping that it would make him see the big Buck for who he really was.
Someone else that was hoping their relationship wouldn't be long lasting was Amber, who once again had been watching the whole scene from behind a door, and this time it had REALLY hit her bad!
Her dreams of ending up with Robin couldn't feel anymore crushed at the moment as returned home herself, still holding onto that little present box she wanted to give him.
Opening it up at her kitchen table it was revealed to be a slice of carrot cake that she had made, and what was most surprising was that it actually looked pretty gorgeous for being her baking!
Looking at the thing the Bunny girl started to have tears coming down her eyes as she lifted up the single slice up to her face, before then eating it up with much inner regrets.
Trying to enjoy the taste of her own making it proved to not be working at all, since all she could think about was how this was suppose to be something for Robin to eat on and not her.
Feeling still completely empty inside after that Amber tossed the now empty box into the nearest trash can, before then getting up and opening her new refrigerator, revealing the rest of the carrot cake waiting inside of it!
"Hopefully the rest of it will make me feel better." Amber said to herself as she brought the rest of the thing over to her table, knowing she was going to have to spend the rest of the evening cramming it all into her small and thin body.Once Saturday finally showed up Robin was feeling more excited then he had ever felt before, as was proven by him spending more time in his wardrobe then he usually did.
When having called and asked Marley for more details on what their date would be like, he had only replied that it was going to be "A visit to the local boardwalk", and that had left Robin pretty unsure on what to pick.
He could go for the tank top and sweat pants look again, but then perhaps Marley would think he only has one type of outfit?
Just shorts and a t-shirt almost felt "wrong", since Marley seemed to enjoy more when he was dressed in something more "girly".
And wearing a long dress was just out of the question, since it would become way to tricky wandering around in for to long. (Unless Marley would wish for that?)
After a lot of thinking Robin decided to compromise with himself by picking a t-shirt with enough of a hole in the head area to show off his chest a bit, and a mini skirt so that he still was wearing something mostly meant for girls.
Once that was over the hair and makeup part went a lot more smoother, as Robin really felt proud over showing up like this for his date with Marley.
He usually was a lot more confident about his choices of dressing, but was having Marley in his life now making him feel less sure about his own taste?
"Guess I'm just nervous about seeing him." Robin thought to himself as he grabbed his purse, before then hitting the bus to take him towards the boardwalk.
Upon showing up Marley was seen sipping on yet another energy drink while waiting on his date, and upon seeing Robin show up in that miniskirt one could see how the big horns of the Buck almost stood out straight.
"S-Sorry I'm late!" Robin said, as he tried his best to walk around in a couple of high heels that he had decided to wear along with the rest of his outfit. (Not having thought about how incredibly unfit those are for walking around in stuff like sand and wooden planks.)
"Hey doll, it's no problem." Marley said as he drank the last of his energy drink, before then chugging the empty can into the nearest trashcan and asking Robin "You're ready to start our date?"
Hearing those last two words almost made the pains in his feet vanish completely, as Robin looked up at his big bulky Buck and said "I can't wait!"Marley had really been smart with his choice of location for their date, as the boardwalk had enough fun stuff for the two of them to spend the whole day together.
Besides just walking through the beachside there was a classic dinner for them to share a lunch and milkshake together (Robin taking an extra large chocolate flavoured one for himself, of course.), spending time sitting on a bench and taking in the sun, and of course getting themselves some much needed ice-creams for the summer heat.
During one moment Robin even went and bought Marley a new can of energy drink, and the genuine smile that he showed upon being given that for free really made Robin's heart swell with joy.
This particular boardwalk also happen to have it's own little amusement park right by the seaside, and while Robin normally wasn't that happy for big and wild rides he did try and keep a good face when Marley asked him to join on them.
Between screaming like crazy during a roller coaster ride, and having to hold onto his skirt from blowing up during a spinning swing set, it was safe to say that Robin didn't really have the time of his life during this particular part of their date.
What they did afterwards was on the other hand pretty much up his alley, as they had a dinner at the amusement park consisting of a big burger and slice of pizza, before then hitting an evening film at a nearby cinema.
Upon exiting the building and heading over towards the beach again Robin could hear a familiar couple of voices shouting "Hey, Robin!" at him, and when looking back he was pleasantly surprised to see it was Eddie and Kevin! (Sarah's gay brother, and his soon to be husband.)
"Oh hey guys!" Robin said super surprised as he gave them both a quick hug, before then asking them on why they were wandering around the boardwalk?
"We have been looking for a gazebo to hold our wedding reception in, and was told there was one here with a lovely seaside view." Edward answered, before then looking a lot more concerned as he asked Robin "Are you doing alright there?"
This made Robin a bit confused as he answered, "Yes, why wouldn't I be?", as he could see how both Edward and Kevin was starring up at Marley a lot.
"This is Marley by the way, and he is my new boyfriend that I'm currently on a date with!" Robin said super proud, as the other two gay guys clearly was looking pretty stunned by what they were hearing.
"So you are dating someone?" Kevin said pleasantly surprised as he tried to get closer to say hello to this new boyfriend, but found himself stopping when he saw Marley laying one of his big arms across Robin's shorter body.
Backing over to his engaged love again, both Kevin and Edward agreed on that they didn't fully trust having this Marley guy being with someone as sweet and innocent as Robin. (But seeing how happy Robin was, they didn't have the heart either to just blurt it out.)
"I really hope your wedding will turn out perfect!" Robin said as he and Marley decided to part ways with Edward and Kevin, as the other two guys could only hope that their Deer friend knew what he was getting himself into.It had been a long and very eventful day together for Robin and Marley, but the big Buck still had one last thing to share with his new love.
As the night time was coming in the two Reindeer lovers had been finding a bench by the beach to sit together on, and Robin took the time to finally get those annoying high heels off so that his feet could finally have some time to breath.
Sitting barefoot next to his big love Robin felt to now was a good time to try and have a proper conversation with Marley, since there was a few things that he had been wanting to ask him after that first meeting at the bar.
"Marley?" Robin asked carefully, waiting to continue until Marley responded with a, "Yes, what is it?"
"I've been thinking during our day together, and on some of the things you shared with me at that bar." Robin said before then taking a short pause. "I understand if you must have had some pretty tense days at your job as a lifeguard, but...did you actually mean it when you said that you would let an annoying kid drown on your watch?"
This made Marley let out a really deep sigh, as if he knew it was only a question of time before it would be brought up again.
"I will be frank with you, Robin." Marley said. "I am not very proud of some of the things I said. I try to not drink very often for that very reason, as it makes me show "sides" that I rather not want anyone seeing."
Robin hadn't been expecting such an honest and somewhat painful answer from Marley, as the big guy continued.
"No, it's okay. I get you. I guess...sometimes we all need to went ourselves?" Robin said back, without really being sure if he actually believed in what he was saying.
"That is why whenever I feel that urge for drinking I try to go for energy drinks instead, as all they do is giving me some extra energy needed to keep my body fit." Marley said while demonstrating his impressive looking biceps to Robin again, making the femboy almost melt over just how hot those muscles of his was!
"So when you earlier bought me that energy drink, you have no idea how happy and warm that made me feel about you." Marley said as he and Robin looked eyes, and slowly started to get closer to their faces until...
"PANG!"
"BANG!"
Looking up in surprise Robin realized just why Marley had been dragging them around until the evening, and that was cause that was the time when a firework show was about to begin!
Robin had always been quite the sucker for fireworks, so when watching them all explode into the air he was feeling like a little child again. (And with the added bonus of Marley's big arm over his shoulder.)
While the two were enjoying the show, so was also Edward and Kevin, who both were sitting about 20 feet away on another bench.
They had both caught on some hints that Marley didn't seem like the best of partners to have, but as long as Robin kept showing unconditional love towards him they knew that it would be wrong to try and interfere with them.
"I can only hope that Robin one day sees what we are seeing." Edward told Kevin as he took his lovers hand, with Kevin saying in return "He is such a super guy, that it would be a real shame to see him end up in such a one-way relationship."
For Robin though none of that really mattered right now, since he had been having such a good time with Marley, and that only made him wish for them to more dates like this in a near future.
Once the fireworks show was over they were about to leave, when Robin let out a small sigh over the thought of having to press his sore feet into those tight high heels yet again.
That was when he felt the heavy paw of Marley tap onto his shoulder, and upon looking up Robin saw the big guy looking down at him and saying "You don't seem to look very comfortable in those things. If you picked them just for me then that's nice, but I wouldn't mind you wearing sandals next time either."
To Robin that was probably the most romantic thing he had heard Marley say to him all day, as the chubby femboy took and jumped right into the mighty arms of Marley, before then planting a big kiss onto his lips as the bulky Buck took and carried Robin along back home.Elsewhere, a black Sheep girl named Christine was woken up from her sleeping by the sound of what sounded like a intruder, coming from the kitchen!
Carefully getting out of bed and arming herself with a lamp, Christine made her way into the kitchen, only to find it being her own roommate Amber.
The Bunny girl was seen sitting at the kitchen table with a big empty plate on top of it, and tons of crumbs covering both the plate and her face!
Add to that also that she now had a small potbelly poking out from her pyjamas outfit, and it was quite the sad image being painted here.
Christine immediately calmed herself down as she asked Amber what had been going on, and that was when the water work was really starting to come on from the Bunny!
"I-It's Robin!" Amber cried out. "First he finds a GUY to be together with, and now I heard they even went on a DATE!!!"
"I see." Christine said rather unsurprised, before then asking "And where does all these crumbs come from?"
"You know that big carrot cake I made for Robin?" Amber asked Christine, before then saying "I ate it all!"
"You ate the whole thing?" Christine asked this time a lot more surprised, pointing out that it was a pretty big cake she had baked.
"I just had to find something to fill up that hole Robin left in me, and since I made that cake just for him I figured it would help make me cope!" Amber said as she started to brush together all of the crumbs left on the plate, to try and make it like one last piece of her big late night meal.
For Christine she knew this obsession with Robin was going to lead her friend down this path sooner or later, and she feared that this might only be the start of Amber's way of "coping" with it!
