*giggle* I used to long for better art supplies, but I'm learning now that while cheap supplies have disadvantages, there isn't really any medium or brand that's without its faults. You hear people gushing over prismacolor sets, but they bleed horribly, for example. (Of course, a steady paw helps even out the problems, but that's another issue altogether. ;) )
