The first of my new batch of experimental commissions, and I'm very pleased with how this came out! With experimental pieces, I get to try new things and just make a piece of art however I feel it would look best, without worrying about the constraints of making it a certain way because it's the way the commissioner wants or expects it to come out. This is a perfect example of that, and while I always want to make commissioned artwork fit exactly as the commissioner wants, it's also incredibly freeing to be able to make art in whatever way I think it will best turn out, to try new things while doing so and expand my artistic horizons.
