Born in Manehattan, Level's fillyhood was a less than stellar as her narcissist parents blamed her for everything that went wrong and treated her like trash while doting on their older daughter. In her teen years she took to a liking to gaming and being online. In junior year one of her friends introduced her to a gaming chatroom where the other schoolkids hung out. There she began talking with one classmate, Joy Ride, who took auto shop classes and loved driving games, especially GTA and Need For Speed. The two soon hit it off and started dating a few weeks later. While his parents, approved of her, her parents didn't approve of him. Though it was probably another attempt to keep their daughter controlled. Nevertheless the two fell more and more in love. At the same time Level was signing up for classes in business management.

The last straw with her parents came during graduation. On their way to the after party Joy took her to a park on the riverfront where they frequented. It was there he proposed to her and she accepted. During the after party they broke the news and while everyone else was overjoyed Level's parents and sister weren't too thrilled. This led to a heated argument where Level's father called Joy a "good-for-nothing" despite already having a job, a car, and was saving money to buy a house. When Level tried to step in her mother and sister both slapped her. This caused a massive fight with the trio losing and being arrested. Not long after the two married and moved out to Ponyville. From there they began setting up their own businesses.

Joy helped his new wife start up a small arcade in the center of town, which soon became one of the hottest places to go in town. She soon was not only able to expand on the business but started hosting a gaming club in the basement of the building, which also became very successful. And with Joy Ride's mechanic business also a great success the two began to settle in Ponyville and enjoy their new lives happily.
