While people are drawing Sailor Moon again acting like it's something new or interesting I decided to showcase my collection of notebooks, sketch books and folders full of my art from over the years from my youth to recent, maybe I can call this the "Art History challenge" or some dumb shit like that, cat is for height comparison.
Early stuff to 5th grade: mostly consists of stuff I was into like Godzilla, Pokemon, Transformers, all of it terrible on all accounts but that's no surprise.
2008-2011 (Middle School): Still drawing things I was into, including Sonic the Hedgehog (I was a sanic fanatic and there's a lot of cringy shit I drew from around that time that is thankfully shredded and gone) along with that 2010 was when I started to experiment with original characters such as Scott and Liz who looked very different back then as opposed to now, shit Scott was a dog at one point, started drawing a lot more furry stuff, experimenting with comics and drawing tons of horny shit which funny and embarrassing story.
When I moved to Lancaster PA back in 2010 I was going through a phase I call "the gore" phase, used to draw Sonic characters all bloody and mangled, never the bleeding black eyes though funnily enough, then that manifested into perversion and lewd stuff, I became quite popular amongst the other students as I was that guy that drew the titties and silly comics, it got to the point where the teacher had asked what I was drawing and she asked me if I was drawing people getting murdered or something along those lines and I told her no and that was that, it was time for lunch and before heading to the cafeteria she pulled me to the side in the hallway and said "okay, the things you're drawing are not appropriate for school and I think you should leave them at home". I didn't get in any trouble it was just a warning but that was hands down the single most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me, I was livid that even the teacher was peaking in my sketch book. It's because of that incident that nowadays I'm so adverse to drawing lewd stuff and NSFW content on the internet as a whole, I'm not against it obviously but there's a limit to which I consume and tolerate it, its purpose doesn't go past getting my rocks off.
2011-2015 (high school): I feel like High school was probably my most creative time, I drew a lot of stuff that is still around today due in part to having a lot of time to just shit out whatever my brain was thinking and as time went on I had more and more time to devote to drawing, whether it be art class, gym class, lunch, study hall, during class, I was a machine back then cranking out idea after idea, my senior year alone is basically summarized as the year of Amazons, Skeletons and Demons, it's where I came up with all the Seven Deadly Sins, their angelic counter parts and all the things in between, I don't miss high school as a whole, just some teachers, the after school club I used to go to and the time I had to draw.
2016- present: I guess all the stuff I drew during this time can be summed up so far as "the actual learning period that I didn't do previous years", I began to do more technical work with shading, experimenting with pens and markers, colored pencils, brushes just a whole lot of shit and finding something that works for me, so far I'm a mess. It also didn't help that I was still figuring out a style which, I don't know what people think of my style, I guess I can also call this the "frustrated period" because I started uploading art around this time (2016) and never really got much feedback from comments, I would eventually figure out that if you want things to change you gotta go and figure that out yourself, that's fine and dandy but the comments might as well not be a thing then if the people viewing my work aren't gonna contribute 2 cents on the piece to help me get better.
I guess there's also my digital library which is miniscule, I also forgot two composition books in the pile that I drew a lot in back then during 2012- 2013, also a long sketch pad that I actually don't know where it's at, probably buried in my filing cabinet. So yeah, in closing and in retrospect I guess every scrap of paper I decided to litter with my markings have some value in my life and future, I never really thought about how creative I was back in high school or after high school I was learning more technical skills that I regrettably missed out on during high school, wonder what the next 10 years worth of art is gonna look like?

Hey, I'm still around.
Daaaaang you've been at it for a while. Probably earlier than when I really started, either...
Kind of a sonic fan too but I've not drawn that much art of his series. Mostly like Nintendo stuff but I only like the pokemon and their designs, kind of fell out of liking the main games after skipping X/Y and playing ORAS. Liked Sly Cooper pretty early on but didn't get around to playing the sequels until recent years.
To be fair I've drawn some pretty crappy things in my time too. (I've drawn Runa without her head like twice.) But no one's ever seen any of my private pictures, thank goodness.
I can stressfully agree with you all the way that people really shouldn't publish lewds and NSFW stuff on the internet, and that whatever they make should be for personal use only.
Your art style is comic-book / graphic novel esque, I'd say more on the Marvel side? Hope that helps.
Here's to hoping your art grows better. As for me... I predict my future's going to continue to be as rocky as the Appalachian mountains.

Have you dabbled with other forms of art like sculpture, pixel art, landscape painting, knitting, craft works, stuff like that? Sometimes it does help to step outside your medium to learn something new, who knows, maybe drawing isn't for you and you might have an eye for sculpture.
Little words of encouragement, you can make anything look good with enough texture.

I have tried doing pixel art sometimes, mostly more basic stuff between 8 Bit and 16 Bit but with more color options. It's challenging but I like it's overall aesthetic.
I did, err, "paint" landscapes in my earlier Colors 3D days, but those were mostly in my head. I could make them look very nice for what it was at the time, but I wonder if I could do even better now.
Craft works looks enjoyable. But that's more of a material-based thing, and it's probably easier to make sculptures with clay. As for that, I may have some ideas but I'd have to practice with it better first.
I don't have the dexterity needed for knitting. Which is a bit of a shame because there's some neat things people do with that. Sweaters, Hats, and Plushes, mainly.
But I feel like I won't get better at drawing if I don't keep practicing. I need to look at more texture stuff... And maybe more details, if I could force myself to remember and do them...
