Backhead of Kentucky Central (Reader Railroad) #11. She's been sitting dead in the same spot for over 17 years.
Note her throttle was locked shut after the last time she steamed.

All the equipment is owned by the Central KY Chapter of the NRHS. In the mid 1980's they started running excursions over the TTI Railroad between Paris and Maysville using #11 and some Erie-Lacawanna commuter coaches.
In 1993 CSX purchased the TTI and put an immediate stop to all excursions. Once they stopped playing trains membership plummeted and the fact what was left of the group refused to work with any other local groups didn't help find the equipment a new home. Memberships kept falling off and now the whole chapter is down to one guy who won'y return anybody's phone calls or letters.
So it all got shoved on a siding and sat for so long that eventually CSX just took out the switch and left everything landlocked except the coaches which sat near the Paris Depot for a few years.
Then two years ago it was announced that everything was supposed to be moved to the Kentucky Railway Museum in New Haven. The coaches were sent on their way but were destroyed by R.J. Corman when their crewmen didn't know how to handle old equipment and crushed them in a switching move. They were scrapped.
Since then no other attempt has been made to move the other equipment.
