A several-year-old sketch (probably less than 10) finally finished.
Fro those not familiar with theme - a scene from Temeraire series book: Temeraire fends off a sea serpent attacking the ship.
Special thanks to my dad for giving me a quick brief on ship/sails construction.

Well, I think that they weren't really underrated - just not much was said about them. Like we didn't know anything about Australian tribes or Inca until some point of the story. The first encounter made a big impression as well. But indeed when they were described en masse, not a single specimen, the effect was quite terrifying...
