The shrunken fox knew what his big brother was hinting at, no matter which option he would take, they would both be humiliating in their own rights. But Tails was still firmly blinded by his previous wins over the blue blur, and he didn't want to lose them now, especially after all the hard effort he put into beating him. So he gave into the giant bully's demand, his tongue would do a bit of licking on those blue fleshy mountains and in return he would be able to compete in the upcoming games. Surely a harsh price to pay for the participation in a video game, but Tails was too determined to fully beat his bro in the next competitions.
