With all the hero work they do, it's easy to forget that Sonic and Tails are still minors. And how do underaged boys spend their night off? With video games of course. They would often go toe-to-toe in their competitive games, fully blending out everything around them until one of them won. Due to his immense speed and reflexes, Sonic would be the winner in most of their video game battles. But the blue blur could shove his ego aside every now and then, offering his young sidekick an occasional win. The naive fox didn't actually pick up on that, he was absolutely convinced that his own skill was surpassing that of his big brother.

Today, the kind-hearted hedgehog would give his little buddy the full taste of victory, holding back his arrogance completely. Nobody expected it, but Tails would go a bit overboard with his victories, constantly taunting his adoptive brother to the point where his ego was far beyond Sonic's. The blue hedgehog could shrug it off at first, but after a handful of intentional losses, it got rather annoying. Seeing him win was no longer cute, he was just being a jerk at this point. One more victory pushed Tail's ego to its peak as he jumped off the couch to fully mock his blue rival. "Hah, 10 wins in a row, guess you're not so fast after all. How's the taste of defeat, loser?" the cocky fox taunted his brother mercilessly. The blue blur's level of tolerance had reached zero, he couldn't take any more from the cocky twerp, hearing his vicious mockery while clearly being offered all those victories under the radar was just too infuriating.
