This is my sweet Water Morty! His story, before the very first "adventure" we see between the Rick and Morty of our TV show, Morty stumbles upon some strange blue liquid sitting on the kitchen counter. He thinks it is water and drinks it, but it mutates him, turning him black and shadowy and dangerous. When Rick walks in, he opens up a portal, leading Morty there to rot. The universe he goes into is the one with the Mega fruit. He is stuck there for several years until OG Rick and Morty show up. Water Morty thinks his Rick replaced him, not knowing of the many other Ricks and Morty's. In his depression, he turns into water instead of the black cloud he once was. Following Rick and Morty back home, he steals Ricks portal gun and starts traveling the dimensions on his own!
