My second Poem for NaPoeWriMo. Sadly, I thought I wasn't going to do another haiku, but I ended up getting sidetracked today due to playing a game, taking a walk for my Pokewalker and a bunch of other stuff. I personally don't think this one is as good as yesterday's. Hopefully, I will be able to make a better one (and hopefully not a Haiku) tomorrow.

Not bad~
Haikus are alright, I found that if I REALLY want to write a haiku anymore, I do like, 2-3 in a row that connect to each other - that way it feels more in depth.
If 5/7/5 could be expressed as A B C, then you could have A1, A2, and A3 relate, B1, B2, B3 relate, and maybe even do something like relate C1 to A3, C2 to A2, and C3 to A1 - or whatever!
You may also want to check out Tanka, its a haiku with two extra lines at the end. 5-7-5-7-7. I wrote a few Tankas last year, and they turned out pretty cool. You could use the Haiku base to express something poetic, then the last two 7s to wrap up the central idea. Play with it!
