SunSpots God - Phaen, god of magical knowledge
Just a sketch, I'm not totally settled on him yet.
Yes, he's a god for my comic. And he's an utter, raging prick. He's the SunSpots version of Vecna I suppose. This is the guy you pray to if you're a magical student and you're panicking about the test tomorrow morning. He doesn't have churches, but magic schools generally have altars to him.
What does he do? He knows shit. He is fanatic in the pursuit of knowledge, particularly magical, and he has absolutely no moral compass. He has no problem offing you if you're in his way. He's got no respect for anyone, god or mortal, with the exception of his somewhat small Host - his two guardians and a handful of sex demons who collect knowledge for him.
Interestingly enough, he CAN be summoned, if you're lucky. He does get bored, after all he refers to himself as unending. The problem is, no magical circle seems able to hold him so when he touches ground he's going to step out of the circle and rape the shit out of your brain.
Hey, if you're into that, more power to you.
BUT... if he likes you, he can tell you things. And a lot of sorcerers, mages, and the like who are into far-end theoretical stuff or just write spells in general will light candles for him because you'd sure as shit rather have him on your side than against you.
