A VERY OLD sketch (from 2015), but it suits to the story~


It's a story about one planet of Spectrum, whose inhabitants was overconfident and destroyed everything on the planet, due to their lack of knowledge.
The planet is named for star system Lux where it is located.

Luxians was one of the first intelligent species in the universe (at least, in their opinion - huh!). Oneday they sent a team, which discovered huge source of energy in one area. Luxians came there and found Sanctuary and the Book of the Gates inside. Huge folio which more like a monument than a real book. With great difficulty, they opened the Book, and released the Guardinal and the Chaos.
But Guardinal refused to let them pass even further in the Sanctuary. "Sorry, my little friends, but you aren't ready for this", - said Lux Guardinal. But not everyone listened to the Gate keeper, who wanted only good for Lux inhabitants. Somebody climbed the stairs up to the World Heart and burned to death due to large flux of harmonic energy around it. Of course he died - he didn't know how to handle all this power. All search team was terrified! "The monster's killed one of us!" - they ran off howling.

Then Luxians was divided into two camps: some have suggested that Monster doesn't want to share the power and will murder anyone who tries to came there, while others proposed to listen for creature's advice and just try to find a common language with him. Buuuut radical side has won. And they killed Guardinal soon. Lux Guardinal was very kind and peaceful and he didn't want to hurt anyone, so he couldn't protect himself from Luxians. Of course, Chaos was killed too - when Chaos is tied to Guardinal, they die together.

Luxians started to study the Book of the Gates by themself.

...Many years later Luxians found a way to use the Gates and got on the other planet. The research team got out of the same Gates, like Luxian Gates. The other Guardinal was already waiting there. He told them everything he could about using Harmonic energy and about the danger of wrong using knowledges from the Book of the Gates.

The research team return home and called for a review of the principles on the use of 'magic' that they possessed. Because otherwise terrible fate waits for them - entropy will make the planet perish. But government didn't believe in their words. Maybe this rebels want to take away Luxians of their power and dignity?! The research team was jailed, and posted temple guard at Sanctuary. Only the most trusted people around Lux government were able to enter there.

And soon, physical anomalies started to destroy the planet. Luxians have tried to find any way to save the planet, but all these efforts were futile. It was only a matter of time before the Lux would become engulfed in awful disasters. So, it wasn't long before overabundance of entropy had wiped out all life on Lux.

Only the Sanctuary area and its guardian inside was survived. Only one on the died, scorched planet.

And that's how the story of Senior race of Lux ended.
