It's a really weird thing but I have this concept called The Megas which are basically distorted versions of other characters. My older art for them actually captures their uncanny nature a lot better but now I do suppose they just end up looking like bulkier-but-still-cute monsters hahaha

God, I hadn't even considered a mega actually managing to properly get down to a perfect 1:1 form but still having their insanity. That's actually a really neat and unnerving concept (in a good way!)

Yeah, good eye! It all belongs to a really broad concept that I call The Megas which are basically just normal characters except really distorted. They're canon is a bit bizarre and all over the place, but they're a fun bunch and especially fun to draw!

Megas can turn others into megas, their condition contagious? I can't even tell if the character the scene is witnessed from was human, anthro or something else before that, heh.

In the context of the story for the above pic, I imagine that this person started out as a human before the story started, woke up as the character on the left one day and then slowly transitioned to the character on the right. Again, mega canon is all over the place so this was just one idea I had! I'd also like to imagine that you could safely interact with any mega without any TF side effects at all! They're super open to interpretation so really, it's up to you
