They look good. The elk seems a tad stiff in his expression and head position, though it is elk like to hold that position. He doesn't really seem to have any expression or emotion, just "stone face". His companion is much happier. Very nice paw gesturing, he doesn't appear to know how to hold those fluted glasses. I like the clothing. Sort of old time-y formal.Background is quite nice. The wooden floor's board lines are a nice touch. I can see how this would have been a bitch ;)

thanks very much! the deer is supposed to be sort of trying to seem cool and regal unlike his friend, though i do think his body came out looking too stiff!
