Been extra stressed lately, going back to work had me pretty nervous, being at work was kinda awful, and a neighbor somewhere at my apartment complex has Covid, so... everything sucks, haha. Isorta needed something comforting, and I kept thinking about the cute orange fox from Super Lucky's Tale! He's sweet and innocent and friendly, and just makes me feel nice and calm. A character that doesn't have any real tough complex attachments and brings me a sense of relief. I haven't really needed a comfort character before, I like and love tons of cuties out there, but seeking one specifically to help right now's a lil different for me. I'm thankful for him!
Description:
Drawn with a crayon texture for the lineart, Oxnard's holding a big fox tail against his body, and curling his own tail around it, with the cheerful Lucky Fox to the right. Lucky's a generic Sonic/Tails-styles looking fox with a blue cape and blue boots. Oxnard's a little stressed and worried looking, with a soft pink, orange, yellow, and green background to warm things up.

I don't know the game but i recognize the fox. I saw him somewhere a couple of years ago, probably an advert for the game and i instantly took a liking to him. Let his soft, bushy tail keep you safe and warm. =)
I was just thinking, if the plague is in your apartment block then maybe it would be best not to start going out yet. Clearly it hasn't left your town and you wouldn't want to put yourself in danger. Whatever you do, here's hoping it stays away from you.

Lucky's super cute! Even if not super popular. He's sure helped though! And haha I totally wanted to stay inside after, but got the notice late in the day, and was all set to start working the next. The kinda thing that makes you feel like you're making up excuses not to go back. X3 I really wish the world could still slow down and play it safe, it's still stressful out there. I hope you can stay safe and smart!
Comfort Characters / Plushies / Blankets are nice to have. they serve as positive distractions when you struggle to remain 'grounded' in your thoughts. It is like they become a singularity for giving the mind a direct thing to focus on outside of the stress triggers.
No surprise, I have lots of these. I, once I have the money, will even be getting a 'Comfort / Weighted Blanket'. My therapist found one that will suit my needs and I can't wait to wear it. (Comfort / Weighted blankets should be 10% of your body weight to do their job properly. They have glass beeds in them for the weight and simulate the feeling of being hugged, swaddled, etc.)
Clothing can be used as a comfort item, too. So, if possible, you can wear undies, shirts, pants, etc. in which make you feel cozy.
May the adorable foxy be with you today, Oxnard. *Big Snugs* We'll get through this.
