Like all my favorite 3D cartoons, this cartoon did not age well, however I appreciate it more now than in its time, because I saw it thinking that it was too childish and ridiculous, as well as strongly criticizing its limitations, with how difficult it was for the time to encourage things that moved by themselves, such as long hair, a long cape or a long tail. I remember being very angry with Candy and with the redesign of Dixie, now that I'm an adult woman who worked in factories doing double shifts and always being angry with my boyfriend without him being guilty of anything. Now I see that she was just tired. Now I see that Donkey was not so stupid, he was sensitive and empathetic. Diddy was not an absolute coward, he was just insecure. Dixie had depression but this last one I think that the writers did not have planned it, if they did it that way for the plots inadvertently, of course the second season I cannot defend it much, the quality dropped a lot.

As for music, in my country the translation and adaptation was decent, but only two voice actors knew how to sing, the rest learned to sing barely acceptable. Just 6 years ago I was able to enjoy the show in English, the music improved a lot (I have already seen it in French and Japanese), it is nice because now I like musicals more than before.

I like cats (movie), I like Jan Svankmajer, I like the 3D cartoon of Donkey Kong and DKTV, I understand that there are people who don't like it, I don't like many things and I respect others if they like them.
