Y’know that feeling?

That feeling you get when you reach the goal ring, or blast past the sign-post at the end of a level? That all-encompassing urge to throw it all away and bust out your best dance moves at the finish line…



Yeah, I thought so.



NeoNightscape Zone (Original the stage-name Do Not Steal) proves to be no match for our Hero Horde, giving up that all important S Rank. Sonic, Tails, Amy, Knuckles, Rouge, Silver, Blaze and Cream all take pride in and revel in their recent accomplishment. Shadow of course isn’t the dancing type - but we all know he’s got a moonwalk or something hiding in there somewhere. I think it’s in his chest fur.

A picture like this was the next step in moving closer to opening up my commissions again. I needed to try something with a bunch of characters, overlapping and interacting with each other. I thought this Raucous Rave would be the perfect way to draw lots of dynamic poses and plan out a way to weave them all together on the fly.

Raucous Rave Zone would likely be the second act of NeoNightscape Zone.

I love how this one came out. There is so much energy and emotion crammed into it. Even Shadow being his usual grumpy self is just nothing short of charming to me. I love how I gave each of the characters their own dance style, and how each integrates into the whole. I planned it out in advance so that not a pixel of space was wasted. That is important in commission work.

My only regret is Cheese. He just steals the show. Why must he be so adorbz.



So let me know how you guys think I am coming along. I like the feedback and it will help me figure out what I need to work on next. The sooner I get all the kinks worked out, the sooner we can get back to business as usual.
